FAQs
Who do you treat?
I treat women in and around midlife. Women in the age range of 30s through 60s will benefit most from my care.
Can you be my primary care physician?
No. I am a medical consultant, though there is some overlap of my services with primary care. I can also provide some primary care services (for established patients) as a bridge if you are between PCPs or cannot see your PCP due to long wait times.
Do you take insurance?
No. This allows for better care without barriers imposed by insurance companies. Patients will receive a superbill to submit to their health insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your policy regarding out-of-network coverage.
How does payment work?
Payment is due at the time of service. Methods of payment include all major credit cards and HSA and FSA cards.
Are you an LGBTQIA+-affirming provider?
Yes! All are welcome here.
Do you provide gynecologic exams?
Not at this time. My office is not currently set up with the staff or equipment to do these exams. Iām happy to provide a referral when needed.
How will I get labs drawn?
You will be provided with lab orders and can have blood drawn at any LabCorp or lab of your choosing.
Can I bring someone with me?
Because the space is small, please come to your appointment alone or with one support person.
What are your clinic hours?
Monday ā Thursday, 9am ā 4pm EST. Appointments outside of these hours may be considered to accommodate work schedules. Communications received outside of clinic hours will be addressed the next business day. In the case of emergencies, please call 911 or go to your nearest ER.
Do you offer telemedicine services?
Yes. Telemedicine appointments are available for residents of Indiana.
Do you prescribe weight loss medications?
Not usually. I use a lifestyle medicine (nutrition, exercise, stress management, and more) approach to weight loss. This helps avoid harmful side effects and rebound weight gain.
